HELIUM PROCESSING PLANT | WINSLOW, ARIZONA
THE WORK: The greenfield construction of a new helium gas processing plant 30 miles outside of Winslow, Arizona. Blondo Constructors provided a lump sum price to set and connect the gas inlet, 4 processing skids, dehydration skid, buffer skids, produced water tank, gen sets, fuel gas inlet and gas sales stations. The processing skids included membranes, PSA, and compression.
The client was having trouble sourcing a mechanical vendor that did not have a price tag reflective of the oil/gas market, with its associated profit margins. Blondo Constructors agreed to look at it from the standpoint that it can be done cheaper and can be looked at through the lens of other industrial industries. The resulting contract was amenable to all parties and Blondo Constructors proceeded to work as a mechanical vendor and client representative to aid in filling any knowledge gaps and helping DME get to the finish line with a world class processing plant.
Blondo Constructors worked with MMR, the electrical contractor, in the spirit of teamwork and proceeded to solve problems, adapt to changes, and ultimately land a successful project.
THE RESULTS: Desert Mountain Energy was provided with a working world class helium gas processing plant on time and on budget.
